Make the Tartare Sauce:

  • In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped capers, fresh dill, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the Fish Fingers:

  • Season the flour with salt and pepper
  • Dredge the cod strips in the seasoned flour, dip in whisked egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Deep fry in hot oil (180°C or 355°F) until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side. For air frying, preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through.

Prepare the Shredded Lettuce Salad:

  • In a bowl, toss shredded lettuce with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
