Instructions

  1. If toasting your bread, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to lightly toast the bread and enhance its flavour and texture.
  2. Lay out the slices of bread on a baking sheet and place it in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until the bread is slightly crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  3. Take one slice of bread and spread a generous amount of green pesto on one side. Repeat with the other three slices.
  4. On the pesto-covered side of each slice, start building the layers of deliciousness. Begin with a few slices of salami, followed by ham, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomatoes.
  5. Top the meat and tomato layers with fresh mozzarella slices.
  6. Finish off by adding a handful of fresh spinach leaves to each sandwich, ensuring they cover the mozzarella evenly.
  7. Take one slice of bread with the pesto-covered side facing up and place it on top of another slice with the ingredients.
